In January 2018 Good Thinking partnered with The Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh to create Scotland’s first and only festival of fitness, health and wellbeing.

The festival featured a range of talks and classes with high profile speakers and instructors, covering everything from healthy eating to mindfulness and mental health

2018 authors included Dr Rangan Chatterjee, Dr Hazel Wallace (The Food Medic), Jasmine Hemsley, Shona Vertue, Tom Kerridge, Professor Richard Wiseman, Rachel Kelly and many others

To launch and promote the festival we created partnerships with Waterstones, Yellow Kite books, Nuffield Health, Tribe Yoga, lululemon, PureGym and Scottish Association for Mental Health

The festival was a huge success, selling 2000 tickets and 400 books

We are now working on the programme for 2019

“EWF was a fantastic event. To have so many experts in one place, delivering talks and classes to an engaged and knowledgeable audience was both inspiring and motivating. That it was in Edinburgh, a city so close to my heart and where I began my medical training made the EWF weekend extra special. I would love to come back again next year.”

- Rangan Chatterjee, BBC's Doctor in the House and author of The 4 Pillar Plan

‘I loved every minute ... The setting was spectacular, the audience so warm and friendly, and the organisation was hugely professional.’

- Rachel Kelly, author of Black Rainbow, Walking on Sunshine and The Happy Kitchen

“A lively and engaging festival with a great mix of wellbeing, psychology and mental health.”

- Richard Wiseman, psychologist and author

“A seamless, well-curated, and high quality event. I'm really excited to see where they take it next year.”

- Lauren Armes, Welltodo Founder

“The Edinburgh Wellbeing Festival was a breath of fresh air. There was so much help and information that the attendees were left with so many practical ways they can improve their health and wellbeing”

- Josh Quigley, The Tartan Explorer
