A GIRL AND HER PIG & A GIRL AND HER GREENS
April Bloomfield is an internationally-renowned chef, best known for holding a Michelin star at two restaurants, The Spotted Pig and The Breslin Bar & Dining Room. She has previously worked at Bibendum and The River Café, under the tutelage of Jamie Oliver.
Our campaign brought April Bloomfield back to the UK and cemented her reputation in the country in which she learned her craft.
We organised a residency at the St John Hotel alongside Fergus Henderson which sold out in minutes. Books were sold each evening and it garnered extensive coverage across the broadsheet food pages.
When Canongate announced her second book, A Girl and Her Greens, there was a great sense of anticipation from the media, and the launch party attracted a strong crowd of food journalists and influencers within the industry.
The new book broke out further, with features across women's magazines as well as foodie publications.
